They have been carefully selected for their knowledge, standing and expertise to give you the BEST information you can get to make your photography business successful. This Event is organised by Britain’s Best Photography who specialise in organising events featuring only the best photographers Britain has to offer. We have also chosen an outstanding venue Breadsall Priory near Derby. This venue has so much WOW factor and is full of photographic opportunities. You simply feel in awe when you approach the Priory up the long driveway. You will not only be learning here but staying here in the exquisite accommodation, where all tutors are staying. We have at least 9 models throughout the 4 days to ensure you get loads of variety in your photography. BOOK EARLY to avoid disappointment as places are limited.
THE VENUE We have chosen our venue very carefully to give you the best opportunity of taking photos with jaw dropping backgrounds. We will be using many of the features around Breadsall Priory including the wondrous house, gardens and courtyards. The 400 acre gardens are a magical landscape with photographic opportunities in every direction. Breadsall Priory exudes a charasmatic atmosphere. Steeped in history, there are endless photographic treats around every corner and we have full use of the house to capture some great shots. Nowhere does the allure of history meet modern comfort more elegantly than at Breadsall Priory, a Marriott Hotel & Country Club. On the photography workshop, you can enjoy the magnificence of a stately residence dating back to 1260. As mentioned above, we will be spoilt by 400 acres of idyllic landscape, where we can find perfect props and backdrops for every shot. This cannot be just viewed as just a photography workshop but a really exquisite break. Bring your partner if you can as you will enjoy the experience just as much after the workshop as during the workshop. All guests and tutors will stay in Breadsall Priory meaning that you do not have to travel once you have parked up! When the day is up and it is time to relax, you are spoilt with a choice of luxurious things to do. Swim in the fantastic indoor pool, exercise in the three fitness areas or luxuriate in the newly refurbished health spa and sauna. This is the oldest of all Marriott hotels, near Derby on the edge of the Peak District, and what is on offer is authentic charm and the finest amenities. You will be spoilt by the award-winning Priory Restaurant, set in an ancient wine cellar. There are two spacious bars to choose from as well as great restaurants. November is a great time for photography and Breadsall Priory, we feel, is the perfect venue for our workshop. There is a selection of accommodation and many of the suites overlook the lake and gardens. Jo De Banzie is one of those enviable photographers who have made it to the top without getting stuck in the groove of adhering to all the rules laid down in the world of photography. Her natural, flowing way of incorporating landscapes into her candid and unposed photography, is pure and beautiful. Her ability to portray the feeling of freeness in her subjects is largely due to letting the children be themselves and then capturing this raw emotion. These skills and qualities are what makes her a highly respected Award Winning Photographer. One of her comments about her photography when booking her on this training session was: “I have been doing this forever”. This just shows that this freestyle photography is simply in her blood. A highly qualified ABIPP member of the British Institute of Professional Photographers and Child Photographer of the Year Winner through BIPP, she clearly shows a uniqueness that enables her to charge the prices she does. In addition to her hugely successful portrait career, she also boasts being the official photographer for the famous in the music world. The well known music producer, Mike Batt, who signed up for this work, told her ‘just do what you do’. That just shows that her style is sought after and in demand.
