Photogether on the Road want to know… What makes for a successful Trade Show?

Suppliers want to speak to as many potential customers as possible and to show / demonstrate their products and services.

The answer from Associations and Training companies is similar in that they too want to sell and demonstrate the value of their skills and services.

The answer from the Photographer is…………….

I guess the answers are a bit more varied as it depends just where you stand. If you are very new to the industry you will have a totally different set of reasons for attending a Trade Show than would a seasoned professional. The long time Pro might just be looking for a more upmarket wedding album range or to gain some extra knowledge on what he / she should be doing next to market their business using the internet. The industry has changed dramatically over the last few years and will no doubt keep changing as technology develops even further. Not only has the way photographes are taken changed but so has the way they are viewed and stored.

Photogether would like to understand more about what you the photographer want from the Trade Shows you attend, it’s Suppliers and their Services.

Over the coming months we plan to put out a number of surveys so that we better understand your needs. We will use your responses to ensure we are able to pull together events that you will find of interest and value.

Our second survey (the first was on Google) is looking to get your views on a number of specific activities that we believe might be of interest.We will analyse the results and will apply our findings to our next Trade Show.
